The Party
Our photographer will arrive at your home approximately 30 minutes before the shoot to set up.
Each party lasts around half a day, allowing for everyone's sitting and breaks for feeding, changing and cuddles.
It's often fun to include a favourite toy and background music helps everyone relax and have fun. Parents can also be in the shoot if they wish.
We also take a shot of the whole group as a memento of the day.
As parents ourselves we know that babies and children can be unpredictable and we work hard to ensure our sessions are as relaxed as possible to get the best possible photographs.
Requirements
We need a space of approximately 10 x 10 ft to set up our portable studio of lights and backdrop and ideally a separate room to work in.
We have found that having a maximum of 5 friends at the party works best. |
What should we wear?
Small babies generally look best photographed in a plain one piece outfit - any words, logos or strong designs on clothes can detract from their faces.
Children can get away with brighter colours but try to avoid anything too fussy.
If there's more than one child in the photo try to dress them in similar colour tones.
If you wish to be photographed with your baby or child a plain long sleeved black or white top works best - again it's best to avoid strong patterns or logos.
It's also advisable to bring a change of clothes for everyone as 'accidents' do happen!
What happens next?
A week after the session you will be able to view 15 - 20 images to look through. You can then select your free print which you will receive, mounted within 21 days.
There is also the option to purchase the full disc of photographs. |
